SHIPPING: We usually ship all orders via UPS although we may ship by other means depending on various factors. Rates and delivery times will be based on their current billing and delivery schedules and the size of the order. Orders are usually shipped within one (1) to three (3) days of receipt of the order, excluding holidays and weekends, unless stated on the order page. An exception to this is shipping during hot weather periods (see below).

Shipping is free for all normal orders shipped within the contiguous USA that are over $230.00 and that weigh 90 pounds or less. We may apply free shipping to orders above that limit but that is decided upon on an order-by-order basis. Specially or quantity priced orders may not qualify for free shipping. You will be notified before the order is processed if it does not qualify for free shipping.

International Orders: Due to the high cost of shipping out of the country, there may be a surcharge for such orders. This will show up on the shipping confirmation page when checking out should it apply to your order. We generally only ship to the US and Canada. We may ship to other countries at times but confirmation of that should be made prior to placing the order to avoid delays.

HOT WEATHER SHIPPING: Since normal shipping companies do not have air conditioned delivery vehicles, they will not guarantee the condition of chocolate shipped in warmer weather. As a result, our guarantee does not apply to items damaged in such circumstances. During hot weather periods, we try to ship all orders on Mondays or Tuesdays. This ensures that packages are not left setting in hot warehouses for extended periods. If you are placing an order during weather that may cause such damage, you may want to select the optional Ice Packs on the order page. Using these will not guarantee that the product will arrive undamaged, but will improve the chances of it. In any event, we will not be held responsible for any damage resulting from such weather. This is the industry standard and we ask for your understanding and patience should such a situation arise.

RETURNS: For non-special orders, if you are not happy with your order for any reason, simply return it to us, following the instructions below, for a full refund for the amount of the purchase - no questions asked. A refund will be granted for the cost of merchandise returned to us that is in its original condition. We do not apply a re-stocking fee for non-special orders. A Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) is required for all special-order refunds or for refunds where the shipping is to be refunded. Refunds will not be made for merchandise arriving without a valid RMA number. You must contact us no later than seven (7) days after the invoice date to obtain an RMA number. RMA numbers are only valid for fifteen (15) days from the issued date. All returned items must be shipped pre-paid - all others will be denied. For special orders, a re-stocking fee of 15% may apply.
